The Song Remains the Same 

A real ground-breaker for Led Zeppelin, "The Song Remains The Same" was the opening number of Houses of the Holy, and reflects Robert Plant's discovery that no matter where the band went, their music had a similar effect.  A total departure from the style of music the band had recorded to that point, "The Song Remains The Same" was played on every tour from the Japanese 1972 campaign until the 1979 Knebworth Festival, including many stunning performances as the 1977 show-opener.  A perennial favorite of The Levee, we're proud to play this one with extra vigor.  It's a special challenge from a technical standpoint, but we think you'll agree that our 1977-style rendition does justice to the mindbending original.
