Dancing
Days

An interesting mix of
eastern and western influences, "Dancing Days" was released in 1973 on
Houses
of the Holy after being recorded at Stargroves in 1972. The track was first
performed at the famous "Electric Magic" concerts at Wembley on November 20 and
21, 1971, and was played on the 1972 tours and on the 1973 European tours. After
being performed once more as an encore in Detroit on the 1973 American
tour, "Dancing Days" took a four-year hiatus until its surprise return in
the middle of "Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp" during a few 1977 acoustic sets. It was
played again during the 1995 Page and Plant tour with a psychedelic Indian-influenced
video accompaniment.
